To not be afraid of what others may say or think. Do not take yourself to seriously. 

Smile. Laugh until it hurts. Go with the flow. 

Most important, have fun even when times are hard, and you must embrace the “suck”. 

In those dark moments smile, laugh and find humor and Joy to lift yourself and others!

" I went to Medical school to help myself and others live the best and healthiest lives possible.  The day I started Medical School was the day I started  down the path of dis-Health or Disease (Diss Ease) .  So what is a Hero's Journey?  Why not just become "Enlightened"?  Practice Mindfulness? They lighten the load of those who are suffering. They show up in your life! They let go of the need to be right. They have a understanding that sometimes  it's better to be kind than right.   Kind people show compassion.  When you are kind you forgive yourself and others. You give grace.   They practice active  listening.  Seeking to understand not to respond.  Kind  people seek to serve others. Share their time.  They do what is right without recognition.   Know the male. Keep the Female. It is knowing the Yin and Yang. The balance allows you to open your arms to receive the world.  Do this and become a child.  Because you know the light you understand the dark. Though this knowledge, Tao (God) is strong within you. There is nothing you can't do. Know the personal (thy self). In doing so, You can accept the world. For  this allows Tao to illuminate within. You become a tool of the Tao (God) to be use in all things.
