You may not find yourself doing what you are truly passionate about. You may not be good at your true passions. Do your best. Have excitement and positive energy about the task at hand!

If you can paint a colorful picture with  the colors on your plate, you are eating well!  Add seeds and nuts for snacks.   Serving size no larger than your fist. What does it mean to be world class.  I was having this discussion with a colleague at work after reading Robin Sharma's work. World-class embodies inner mastery and outward excellence.  World Class radiates  positive energy ,  calm , and   confidence , moving through life with a deep sense of  purpose  and  presence . Their self-awareness fuels  their actions aligning  with a clear, authentic   "why".  World Class are the" 1% of the 1% . The Duck Pond “The Easy Path leads to the Hard Life, The Hard Path leads to the Easy Life”  Rilke Are you a Duck?  Are you and Eagle?  Are you a Eagle convinced you are a Duck? Ducks: Live in the the Duck Pond. Ducks keep repeating the same thing again and again getting the same results.  They  swim around the pond constantly complaining "Nothing in my life every changes".  The negative Nellie.   They do just what is asked. Life’s Angels and Life Guards As I grow  and climb up the Intuitional Mountain, I have come to appreciate that still small voice in my head.  I am learning the value of paying attention to it.  When it tells me to call a friend or reach out to someone I do it.  I am more willing now than ever to face my fear.  I listen when it tells me to avoid a danger. It tells me to  chase a  dream I do it. Get uncomfortable, OK.  I do it!  It's living from the Heart!  Living from your Gut! You never know when or if you are ever going to see that person again. These moments are so valuable.  Listen. Respond. 40 Days A Son's Wisdom

  "40 Days" Recently my son Scott and I are sitting in the back yard taking in the stars. Spending  time together.  A great way to close the day.   Cold Beers in hand he starts asking me questions.   "Dad, How old are you now?".  "So, What is the average life expectancy of a man in the United States today?"  I start thinking  "where is this going?'.   Knowing how smart he is and how intuitive he is I start thinking this is going to go deep.  So, Dad.  "How many days/experiences have we had this year together?"  "Two" I answered. He then does some simple math.  If you live to the average age of 75 years of age, that calculates to  on average you have 20 years left.  We spent 2 days together this year.  That totals 40 days. The Duck Dive

"The wise person not choosing to jump into floodwaters, but when surrounded by them, accepting struggle, endure by choosing peace over war".   Seneca, Moral Letters, 28.7 This is surfing.  Actually, this is Life!  A  surfer paddling into big waves, will relax, go with the flow.  Meets the  wave.  Duck dives under the wave avoiding the full power and upward force.  Drawing onto the face of the wave.  The same can be true in life when facing daunting and overwhelming stress, tragedy negativity or trauma.  What is a "Duck Dive"?   It's when a surfer changes their position on the board as large wave approaches.  Large waves have the force to pick up and crash the surfer down on to the reef.   The wave also has an opposite and protective energy.
