Understanding you have enough makes you Rich!

Be  in balanced.  Live Centered.  Though this you can totally embrace Death.  From this place, you flow with and become one again with Tao/God. Enduring forever.

Be Bold Being bold means to be willing to take risks. Be willing to be vulnerable, expose while at the same time being brave and strong. Stand for something. Go for it! Turn Left in a Right turning tribe. A willingness to be different. When You fail/fall get right back up and learn from your mistakes. Overcoming or facing fear and anxiety. A mental attitude of Fear(less) or fearing less is being Bold. Be Charming To Be Charming is to be first and foremost, to be Sincere. Being Charming is the ability to listen. What I Learned Surfing Costa Rica

Live life! Love Life! Saver Life! JUST BE! Be in the moment! It is  never a bad day when you are your surf board! I was so excited to fulfill my life time goal of learning to surf. Ever since I was a young boy living in Hawaii I have wanted to learn to surf.   I am now part  a very elite group of athletes.  Surfers talk in a language different than the rest. How surfing has a huge impact in their lives. On some level, it is a religion. This became very clear to me! The surfing life style is a religion. A life style, a way of viewing the word that brings life into perspective. What is really important! This attitude or view has truly changed my life. This mind set weaves in and out of both the Emotional and Intuitional Mountains. What does it mean to be world class.  I was having this discussion with a colleague at work after reading Robin Sharma's work. World-class embodies inner mastery and outward excellence.  World Class radiates  positive energy ,  calm , and   confidence , moving through life with a deep sense of  purpose  and  presence . Their self-awareness fuels  their actions aligning  with a clear, authentic   "why".  World Class are the" 1% of the 1% . Manure

“We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.” — Dalai Lama Funny thing manure.  It has a smell that can be down right over powering!  You immediately recognizing it when you smell it.  I was once told by a General Surgeon if you don't know Shit don't mess with it.  What he was referring to was the bowel.  If you can't fix the  issue you may find yourself  operating on, leave it to the ones who know what they are doing.  For me as a Gynecological Surgeon it meant to stay in my zip code, the pelvis when operating.  Good advice.  Stay away from shit!   In life maybe there is similar advise we should heed.    We have those people in our lives that are constantly negative. Functional Fitness

On My Death Bed I want to say, “I am glad I did, not that I wished I had!” What is functional fitness.  It is fitness for Life! Fitness for movement.  Being functionally fit means you have the strength and flexibility required to live  life at its fullest potential.   To have work capacity, endurance and strength. Flow if you will though all aspects of your life.    You must be ready for what ever life is going to through at you!  It is having a balance between strength, work capacity, endurance, flexibility and mental toughness.  You need to train in all of these areas. When you are functionally fit you are ready to take on anything.  You want to go for a run, a hike, a mountain bike ride,  surfing, SCUBA diving, a big back packing trip or life calls upon you to get to work.   When I get the call the Surf is Up or the Storms are Dumping Powder, I want to be physically ready, no hesitation.  Getting it done...

Ropes!

When I was growing up as a young man a metaphor  I was taught by my tribal  leaders was about a Kite.  When you fly a Kite the string is what gives the Kite its stability.  The stings connected to the ground is what keeps the Kite in flight and not whisked away in the wind. Keep a tight hold to the ground through the string.   The Kite is you, the Sting is the principles taught. This guiding principles are what will keep you grounded and safe. I asked the question "What if there is a storm?  A Kite bound to the ground by string will  that not tear apart the Kite?".  The string becomes a burden.    Like the elephant and the string. A false thought.   A chain.  What If I am not a Kite?  But an Eagle?  Then the string becomes a rope that ties me down.  Causing me  harm.  Preventing me from soaring high above the storm. How I strive to live! What I have learned over years. This about sums it up. Today is a day I reflect on all I am. Today is a special day for me. I have now been brought back together with ALL of my family. So blessed to have the Mom and Dad who raised me and now I have my Birth parents and family in my life. I now know where I came from. I now have a clear vision where I am headed. I want my family and friends to know how grateful I am for all of you! I love you! Nothing like old friends (family). The Duck Pond “The Easy Path leads to the Hard Life, The Hard Path leads to the Easy Life”  Rilke Are you a Duck?  Are you and Eagle?  Are you a Eagle convinced you are a Duck? Ducks: Live in the the Duck Pond. Ducks keep repeating the same thing again and again getting the same results.  They  swim around the pond constantly complaining "Nothing in my life every changes".  The negative Nellie.   They do just what is asked. Never go the extra mile.  They complain "quack" to everyone how unfair life is.  They live within their comfort zone.  The place of cozy and familiar.  They don't realize this is a sweet poison silently killing their inner Soul.  We have all had that waiter or person behind the counter who is rude and can not or will not help you because of "this" or "that" reason.  That is a Duck! "The wise person not choosing to jump into floodwaters, but when surrounded by them, accepting struggle, endure by choosing peace over war".   Seneca, Moral Letters, 28.7 This is surfing.  Actually, this is Life!  A  surfer paddling into big waves, will relax, go with the flow.  Meets the  wave.  Duck dives under the wave avoiding the full power and upward force.  Drawing onto the face of the wave.  The same can be true in life when facing daunting and overwhelming stress, tragedy negativity or trauma.  What is a "Duck Dive"?   It's when a surfer changes their position on the board as large wave approaches.  Large waves have the force to pick up and crash the surfer down on to the reef.   The wave also has an opposite and protective energy.
